Fiend’s debut LP, The Seven Deadly Dubs is full of the dark samples, heavy kicks and basslines that are the signature sound of music that has been designed for playback on a large sound system.

Inspired by the early DMZ and Big Apple Records releases that started it all, these seven compositions are stripped back minimal music with a focus on the low end and atmosphere.

Fiend’s fascination with horror and kung fu movies is reflected by his use of dark vocal samples and creepy atmospherics, which are then layered over low rolling basslines to recreate those cinematic vibes.
