Fiend is a DJ and producer from Manchester, England. It was 2011 at a GASH Collective party at The Wall in Warrington that Fiend first heard sounds like that of Kryptic Minds. Heavily influenced by the dark dubstep sound, Fiend started collecting and mixing vinyl. Soon after a friend introduced him to Fruity Loops Studio and he started producing tracks of his own. Fiend's current influences are producers like Gantz, Kaiju, Asylum and Vicious Circle.

 

Fiend's music has been featured by Korrupt and Makz on their radio shows and he also has had a free download with Fat Kid On Fire.  Fiend has releases with Demon Recordings and has received a lot of attention for his 2013 Galactic Dubz release 'Medusa'. His remix of the Author track 'Jah Live' has also proved popular as a free download with us at Dubtribu Records.

 

Currently Fiend broadcasts for Dusk FM and fulfils many requests for podcasts. He is also working on a collaboration EP with Arta and a Jungle and Dub album with Abyss Dweller. With forthcoming releases on Australian label Golden Era Records and a forthcoming EP here with us at Dubtribu Records, Fiend is set for a busy and exciting year in 2014.
